Do you want your voice to be heard?

Business consultations run year-round, and are often led by Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council. From business rates, to tourism, these consultations help local government, national government, and Norwich BID to understand your needs and your beliefs.

Norfolk County Council have partnered this year with the Norwich BID to explain to Norfolk Business Rate payers how the Council is helping businesses across the county.

Throughout 2021, Norfolk County Council have been working together with district and New Anglia LEP colleagues to support the businesses in our region through the everchanging climate, and build better foundations for the future.

This page outlines some of the council’s achievements in 2021, as we continue to invest in infrastructure, people and businesses.

People
Norfolk County Council want to help young people get into employment and encourage businesses to hire more workers as well as supporting those whose jobs have been affected by the pandemic.

Business
Norfolk County Council have actively supported our region’s businesses and help them adapt to the new ways of working as a result of the pandemic and support our tourism businesses through the Experience project and the Tourism Sector Support Package.

Place
The Norfolk Strategic Infrastructure Delivery Plan (SIDP) sets out Norfolk's high-level infrastructure priorities for the next 10 years. These priorities will help to deliver significant economic growth in the county.
