Love Light Norwich

Love Light Norwich is a bright new festival celebrating art and innovation in Norwich.

This bold & bright city centre festival will return Thursday 17 February - Saturday 19 February. Love Light Norwich brings unexpected magic to the Norwich streets: stunning installations, performance, projections, a city centre procession, and much more for everyone to experience, all for free. For 2022, Love Light Norwich will celebrate love in all its forms, and the communities that make our city.

For 2022, Love Light Norwich will bring communities together again, creating a beautiful shared experience for local residents and visitors alike.

First taking place on Valentine's weekend 2020, Love Light Norwich created a stunning immersive experience in the city centre. Celebrating the theme of love and belonging, the festival featured an illuminating trail of light and fire artworks, extraordinary installations and astounding performances.

In 2020 more than 15,000 people from across the region joined our debut festival, admiring the art, participating in the installations, watching the parade, and making the most of what Norwich has to offer, from the late night market, to the food trail throughout the city.

Love Light Norwich 2020 was the vision of Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) and supported using public funding by Arts Council England. Not only did the festival bring accessible, high-quality art to the city, but it also increased footfall in the off-season, driving traffic to our local businesses.
