ALERT push-to-talk radio service

The Norwich BID ALERT radio scheme provides businesses with a secure channel of communication, connecting the city.

The scheme is a vital tool for reducing business crime across the city by sharing information of local and persistent offenders, and communicating their direction of travel.

The push-to-talk radio scheme, provided by Link Radio, operates using a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection on IOS/Android handsets or a radio handset, providing greater coverage and reliability, and can be managed through a web app.

The new scheme is more accessible, affordable and efficient for Norwich businesses to prevent and reduce crime.
