Following a successful first Run Norwich in 2015 organised by Norwich City Community Sports Foundation (CSF), the 10km road race has continued to return annually.
With almost 5,000 runners participating in 2017 the course took in some of the city’s most iconic and prominent landmarks. The route provides a unique experience for both runners and spectators, with music and entertainment at the start, along the course and in Chapelfield Gardens.
Run Norwich is for those aged 16 and over and for runners of all abilities and levels of experience.
One of the key aims of Run Norwich is to support local causes and runners are encouraged to fundraise for the race’s chosen partner charities (Community Sports Foundation, Nelson’s Journey, Big C, SERV Norwich and many more) Norwich BID continues to be instrumental in helping make this event happen for the city, as a key funder and part of the part of the race operations board.
Run Norwich brings a buzz to the city centre and the BID team enjoy taking part in the event every year.
Run Norwich is made possible thanks to the partnership work of its Race Operations Board: Norwich BID, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, Norwich City Football Club, The Forum, Norwich City Council.
