Christmas in Norwich

Christmas is coming and once again Norwich will be illuminated with a spectacular awe-inspiring city light theme.

Following on from the Christmas spectaculars in 2016 & 2017, Norwich BID has once again invested in Christmas lighting throughout the city centre.  Christmas 2018 in Norwich will burst into life on Thursday 15 November with the annual Christmas Light Switch On event

Tunnel of Light

The Tunnel of Light returns, for its 3rd year, to Norwich to take centre stage in the Christmas festivities this year with brand new light sequences.

With 50,000 LED’s that reflect the patterns and colours of the Northern Lights, the 45-metre-long tunnel, situated on Hay Hill opposite The Forum will be the perfect backdrop for your seasonal selfie. Share your tunnel photos using #MyTunnelofLight & @mytunneloflight on Instagram.

Free to visit, the tunnel is open daily from 16 November – 5 January. 8am-Midnight.

Projection Shows

Norwich's iconic Castle will be transformed by awe-inspiring 70ft projections, adding to the Christmas magic that will be sprinkled throughout the city in November and December. Projections run from 4pm - 11pm. 16 November - 5 January.
