Norwich BID is instrumental in developing innovative destination marketing campaigns and ideas that put Norwich at the front-of-mind for visitors, tourists, and businesses across the UK and abroad. Our campaigns look to reach potential visitors using a range of media. This includes the use of social media, web-based and mobile technologies to allow interactive dialogue between organisations, communities and individuals.
Working in partnership with VisitNorwich and solely funded by Norwich BID, ‘Norwich: The City of Stories’ was initially a 12 week campaign covering 12 themes. Building on Norwich’s status as a UNESCO City of Literature; telling some of Norwich’s most amazing tales, uncovering the city in a series of stories to bring it to life for those who love the city, and for those that have never been. Due to the success of the campaign, it is now a permanent feature of our city.
The VisitNorwich App is the one stop shop for everything Norwich related! FREE to download on iOS and Android the app features detailed events listings, an interactive map, city trails and a directory by interest. Norwich BID businesses are featured on the app for free.
