Love City Food Trail Shines Spotlight on Norwich Restaurants

Norwich BID City Food Trail Tipsy Vegan 37

The Tipsy Vegan

Our Love City Food Trail ran this February-March, celebrating the return of Love Light Norwich. The trail was aptly themed around love, with restaurants offering love-themed dishes and drinks for the duration of the trail.

We were delighted to see such a variety of participating venues and dishes on offer, giving people the opportunity to discover new foodie hot spots in Norwich. From cocktails to cookies, sandwiches to slap-up meals, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

This year, we created a Love City Food Trail printed map, which was available at participating restaurants, and included a 'City Food Passport' feature, to encourage repeat custom. All restaurants taking part were given a neon 'love' sign to display in their shop windows, to show their participation in the trail, and support for Love Light Norwich - attracting more customers in. As well as being featured on printed trail maps, all participating restaurants were also highlighted on our online interactive trail map, which was promoted in VisitNorwich and Norwich BID communications.

Thanks to all the restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes and takeaways which took part in the trail - it was fantastic to see establishments so busy during February and March, and we are looking forward to our next City Food Trail, returning in October (TBC!).
